What's a Capo?
A capo is a clamp that goes across all the strings at a specific fret. It raises
the pitch of all strings equally, so you can play the same chord shapes in a different key.
We use a capo because chords with open strings sound different than barre chords where
our fingers are touching every string. If you need to use a capo for any of our lessons,
it will tell you which fret to put the capo on at the top of the chord chart.
